MTS has launched its Android smartphone, MTS Pulse in India. MTS Pulse is a rebranded HTC Hero. MTS Pulse runs Android 2.1 OS with HTC Sense UI and powered by Qualcomm MSM7600 528MHz MHz processor.
MTS Pulse features a 3.2inch HVGA Capacitive Touch Screen display with 320 x 480 pixels resolution, 5 MP autofocus camera, 512MB ROM/288MB RAM, micro SD card slot and 1300 mAh battery for talk time of upto 214 mins. MTS Pulse supports Dual-band 800/1900MHz, CDMA2000 1xRTT/1xEVDO rev. A network, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS connectivity, Adobe Flash support, gravity-sensor, digital compass and accelerometer.

MTS Pulse is available for free on a one year agreement with Rs. 1500 postpaid plan in which user can get 1500 minutes, 1500 SMS and 1500 MB data usage every month for 12 months. MTS Pulse is also available for Rs 18,000 without any plan.
