Samsung to give India new 45 mobile handsets



Samsung is planning to release almost 45 new handsets in India this year, sources informed. As the smartphones genre is on rage, most of them will be the same, starting from a price range of Rs.8000 onwards.

Samsung by launching these phones aims to increase its market share in India by 32%. This would be a 10% hike than  earlier as it stands at 22%, sources noted.

Samsung has already introduced a second tablet and more tablets are there in the pipeline combining the functions of a phone, computer, touchscreen, camera and smartphone.
To sell more phones Samsung will have more retail stores opened in the country, moving from 70,000 to 1, 20,000 stores.

Samsung phones may opt for operating systems from Android, Bada to Windows 6.5, providing a wide range of application to the users.

Samsung increased its revenue from $38 billion to $100 billion this year, by merging its business to business services for IT with its mobile devices.
