Bangalore metro is again on a trial hunt on Wednesday

The first trail of Bangalore metro train was held on January 23, where it has carried various family members and relatives of the officials but this time its second trail run is without official’s kin.
Namma Metro’s second trail run was held on Wednesday twice from Byappannahalli Station to Trinity Circle Station. The trial run began at the Byappannahalli Station at 6.30 pm. It halted at the Trinity Circle Station at 7pm for 10 minutes and then rush back to Byappannahalli.
Earlier train officials had been questioned by newspapers for filling the train up with people when trail runs were on but this time the train is filled with some technical experts and drivers only. During trail run, experts and drivers are checking the track and traction system.
Initially it was planned that the train would be halted at Trinity Station and then it would be taken back to the Byappannahalli depot, for security reasons. And hence the second run occurs after a gap of 15 minutes.
Experts have closely monitored each and every system of train including brake and skid tests, to ensure that train is capable of taking smooth curves. The train ran at a speed of nearly 45km per hour.
It has been announced by Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) that train would began its extensive trails from February 19.
