Gigabyte Launches No 1 Choice Program


Gigabyte India has announced a new channel program called ‘The No. 1 Choice – GVPP’.  Effective from February 11, 2011 it is open only to registered channel partners who buy Gigabyte motherboards from the company’s authorized distributors and Premium Partners.


To be eligible for the ‘The No. 1 Choice – GVPP’, partners need to be registered on the GVPP Website, http://event.gigabyte.com/india_reseller, wherein they have to enter the purchased motherboards’ serial and check numbers to earn reward points. Partners are being promised gifts worth the same amount as the number of points earned by them.

The prizes range from a set of two optical mice for earning 200 points, to 90-gram gold coins for earning 200,000 points. The other prizes up for grabs include 150CC bikes, 15-gram gold coins, Tablet PCs, laptop bags, trendy wallet-cum-belt sets, and a range of Gigabyte’s fast-selling higher-end models.

Announcing the launch of ‘The No. 1 Choice – GVPP’, Rajang Sharma, General Manager, Marketing and Sales, Gigabyte India, said, “The main objective of the new scheme is to reward every partner, who is keen on promoting Gigabyte motherboards. To ensure improved margins and profitability for them, our scheme encourages partners to purchase motherboards with chipsets having a growing or established market demand, which include all available models in India. Channel partners can improve their Roy in this by focusing more on high-end models based on motherboards for AMD 6-Core CPU and Intel 6 Series.”
