PC peripheral manufacturer Amkette has launched Flash TV HD media player for Rs. 3,995, which comes free with an HDMI cable worth Rs. 499. The diminutive circular device sports full HD (1080p) video playback and supports all major video and audio formats like MKV, AVI, H.264, M2ts (Blu-ray), MP4 including the photo formats JPEG, GIF and BMP in high resolution 1080p output directly to the television.
Flash TV HD supports DTS/Dolby audio formats and features like Photo Movie with music effect, high definition video upscaling, playlist creation, and the much needed resume feature for power cuts. Like all media players of its type, Amkette Flash TV HD hooks up directly to displays through an HDMI output and plays audio/video content through a connected USB drive or an external hard drive. The device is backed by a 1 year warranty.
