Epson Stylus Pro 4900 Printer Launched in India


Leading Printers maker, Epson has expanded its photo and graphic arts printing range with announcing the launch of Epson Stylus Pro 4990 in Indian Market.
According to the Samba Moorthy, Senior General Manager Sales & Marketing, Epson India, “The Epson Stylus Pro 4900 is important to Epson and our customers as it makes our very best photo and graphic arts printing technologies available in a more affordable, smaller, and more compact form factor than ever before,” says Samba Moorthy, Senior General Manager Sales & Marketing, Epson India.
Epson Stylus Pro 4990 is the smallest printer model that features top-end features like Epson’s most advanced Micro Piezo TFT (Thin Film Piezo) print head that is capable of handling 10 ink channels simultaneously with 360 nozzles for each colour, and UltraChrome HDR (High Dynamic Range) ink set that features three shades of black and new orange and green inks. The UltraChrome HDR ink set also delivers smooth tonal gradation from shadows to highlights, excellent color stability, long term lightfastness, highly accurate color control with neutral black and white, high gloss levels, water-resistant prints and significantly reduced graininess in skin tone areas.
The Epson Stylus Pro 4900 is only printer in its class, which is capable of handling roll media and equipped with an optional X-rite spectroproofer colour management system. It has certified 98% Pantone colour gamut coverage which works with Epson Micro Piezo TFT print head and UltraChrome HDR ink set to deliver unmatched printing quality.
